I welcome children, adults, elderly adults and families interested in addressing challenging seasons in their lives, including: parenting/grandparenting, divorce/co-parenting, life transitions, stress/trauma, and relational and spiritual issues. I work with those of every age, culture, andbackground. As a therapist I focus on strengths and resources, using a compassionate, non-judgmental and insight-based approach. I treat people who are dealing with issues which include depression, post-partum depression, anxiety, ADHD, crisis/trauma, developmental delays, transitions, life change, school/peer challenges, spiritual challenges/soul care and self-esteem.
For moms, dads, and kids (ages 0-12, preschool/school-age) I offer education and support regarding emotional and behavioral well-being including developmental milestones, while providing and an empathetic presence for kids and families as they process stessors and transitions and move forward in healthy ways. Play therapy is a non-threatening and fun way for kids to work through their emotions and thoughts. Caregivers can also benefit from encouragement and support as they accompany their child through these years of growth and change.
I will create a safe, helpful environment while collaborating with you to achieve your goals.
